Remember that the time to request a Panel of Qualified Medical Evaluators is at 5:00:01 on the 16th day after the objection letter is sent to the applicant attorney. If the attorney beats you to the punch and selects a specialty that you feel is inappropriate, you should immediately send a letter to the Medical Unit, along with supporting documentation, for why the specialty you are requesting is more appropriate.
