California’s DIR announced today that the Division of Workers’s Compensation (DWC) will temporarily close its district offices in San Jose, Oakland and San Francisco to comply with shelter-in-place orders intended to protect the health and safety of the public as well as DWC staff. Per the DIR’s statement (available here), “The Division’s headquarters office, which includes the Medical Unit, Return-to-Work Supplement Program, Uninsured Employers Benefit Trust Fund and Legal Unit, will also close temporarily.”
