California DIR Suspends Another 12 Medical Providers

The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) announced that it has suspended 12 more medical providers from the state’s workers’ compensation system. Nine of these providers were suspended for fraud or criminal actions, while three were suspended for administrative reasons. These suspensions bring the total number of medical providers suspended in California this year to 85. 

The following providers were suspended: Paul Richard Randall of Orange, Harold “Harry” Persaud of Westlake, Ohio, Jeremy Goodwin of Mt. Shasta, Christopher Dean Owens of San Francisco, Guven Uzun of Marina Del Rey, Farad Hafezi of Covina, Troy Ericsen Palmer of Chino, Keith Robert Deorio of Santa Monica, Christopher Allen Scott of Palm Springs, John Thomas Moranville of Lafayette, Joseph Struzzo of Cathedral City, and Adly Ayad Azab of West Covina.
