Gonzalo Parades, the former office manager of Advanced Radiology in Beverly Hills, was recently convicted of 51 felony counts and sentenced to five years in prison. This sentencing comes after Dr. Donald Grusd, the owner of Advanced Radiology, was convicted on 39 felony counts and sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2017. Parades and Grusd were both involved in a kickback scheme that paid a San Diego-based chiropractor more than $225,000 in exchange for patient referrals to Advanced Radiology.
