Kimberly Dyess received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Irvine in Criminology, Law and Society and earned her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Whittier Law Review. She has published two articles, one of which deals with electronic evidence. Having joined the firm in 2001, Ms. Dyess is a frequent, dynamic speaker at industry events and involved with many community and risk management activities. She is particularly committed to the firm’s excellence in legal knowledge, aggressive client representation and superior customer service. Ms. Dyess served as a Commissioner and Vice Chair on the Board of Certified Legal Specialists in Workers’ Compensation for the State Bar of California from 2009-2012 and has been a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist since 2007. She became a shareholder in 2013 and manages the firm’s San Diego office. When she’s not rooting for the San Diego Chargers during football season, Ms. Dyess enjoys spending time with her husband and her dogs, serving as the Correspondence Coordinator for a local canine rescue, watching movies, playing competitive word games and golfing for various charitable organizations, including Canine Companions for Independence and Freedom Is Not Free.
